About the Association
The Mysuru Bar Association (R) is an association of advocates practising in the courts at Mysuru, Karnataka, registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 — Regd. No. 193/86-87. It is run by office bearers elected by its members every two years, from its office in the District Law Courts premises, Chamarajapuram.
The Association keeps the register of its members, collects membership subscriptions, and runs a Death Relief Fund that supports the families of members who pass away. It also keeps members informed of court notices, meetings and events.
Members will soon be able to pay their dues online, receive receipts by email, update their details and find fellow advocates through the Association's member portal and the MBA Members mobile app.

Membership fees
As set by the Association's Bye-Laws (as amended in 2026). Members pay at the Association office or, once online payments start, through PayU (UPI, cards, net banking). The Death Relief Fund is held in a separate bank account and is paid separately from the membership fees.

Late payment (Rule 5(d)): Up to three months overdue: penalty of ₹100; Three to six months overdue: penalty of ₹300; More than six months overdue: arrears plus a penalty of 50% of the arrears; Twelve months unpaid: membership is removed (Rules 5(d) and 8(g)).
