1. About these terms
These terms apply to the website mysurubarassociation.com, the Association's member portal and office panel, and the MBA Members mobile app (together, the “Services”), operated by The Mysuru Bar Association (R) (“the Association”, “we”), Association Premises, District Law Courts Premises, Chamarajapuram, Mysuru, Karnataka – 570005. By using the Services you agree to these terms.

- The office panel is for staff and office bearers authorised by the Association.
- You sign in with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email ID. Keep access to that email secure and never share an OTP — the Association will never ask you for it. You are responsible for activity under your account.

- Fee amounts are decided by the Association's General Body. Revised amounts apply to payments made after the change; the amount due is always shown before you pay.

4. Online payments
- Online payments are processed by PayU Payments Private Limited (PayU) by UPI, debit/credit card, net banking or wallet. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered on PayU's secure page; the Association does not see or store them.
- Death Relief Fund payments are credited to the Association's separate Death Relief Fund account; membership fees and subscriptions to its Membership account. The two are paid separately online, and each payment gets its own receipt.
- A payment is complete only when PayU confirms it to the Association. If confirmation is delayed, the Services check with PayU again automatically.
- Payments made at the Association office (cash, cheque, bank transfer) are receipted in the same way.
5. Delivery of service
The Association provides membership services; no physical goods are delivered. As soon as a payment is confirmed, your dues are updated and an electronic receipt is issued in the portal and app and emailed to your registered email ID — normally within a few minutes. Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Member records and the directory
- Members must keep their details accurate. Changes to key details are reviewed by the office before they take effect.
- The member directory shows only the details each member has chosen to make public, plus their name and MBA number. Directory information must not be used for spam, commercial solicitation or any unlawful purpose.
7. Acceptable use
You must not try to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the Services, upload harmful content, or give false information. The Association may suspend access that is misused.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the Services available and accurate, but they are provided “as is”. The Association is not liable for interruptions caused by PayU, banks, email or internet providers, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use of the Services means you accept it.
